We’re Always Learning at GraceFul Care!

Compassion. Companionship. Camaraderie. That’s what sets our caregiving team apart from others. Most of our caregivers hail from the east coast or Midwest. They’re honorable and helpful people who wholeheartedly care about the clients they care for. Many are retired from other professions. One gentleman was an attorney in Ethiopia; another caregiver spent her life as a Catholic nun. They come from all different backgrounds but what they share is a desire to connect with others and assist those in need of a gentle helping hand. Many got their experience by providing care for a loved one in their own family. One staff member told me that he liked himself the best when he was caring for his parent, so he followed through and joined our team.

Our caregivers go through a comprehensive training process that includes Insight Memory care and training with the Alzheimer’s Association, as well as education in understanding the needs of older adults. Since our caregivers spend a lot of time taking clients to appointments and outings, I require my caregivers to be excellent drivers. My background check includes an audit of each employee’s motor vehicle record. Rest assured, your loved one is in safe hands with GraceFul Care.
